Presentation

The proper management and leadership of Human Resources is one of the basic pillars on which the success of organisations depend on. The professionalisation of Human Resources function is accepted not only as a set of knowledge about the management processes or even about the behaviour of individuals in organisations, but also requires a set of competencies, capabilities, skills and other distinctive characteristics that can be taught, learned and assessed, and that give rise to standards of behaviour, good practice and communities with a strong identity and distinctiveness.

The specific objective of the Master’s degree is to provide our students with a solid training in management and leadership of people that will enable them to assume, with guarantees of success, the processes of managerial decision-making in the field of Human Resources Management in any type of organisation.

This Master’s degree will train students in the development of planning, execution and control activities of the human resources strategy, aligning it with the company’s strategy. It will also train them in the use and handling of methodological tools that will allow them to delve deeper into the role that the human resources field plays in the overall running of the organisation, the establishment of objectives and specific policies in the social sector. The aim is to acquire specialised training that enables students to analyse, formulate and implement strategic and operational human resources plans that are coherent and integrated with the rest of the functional areas of the organisation.

Other critical aspects in the field of Human Resources Management is the acquisition of training and skills in the field of labour law and in relations with employees and their representatives. In this regard, at the end of the master’s degree, students will have acquired a solid, pragmatic and flexible training that will enable them to cover a wide range of managerial decisions in the area of Human Resources Management.

In addition, after completing the Master’s degree, the student will have acquired the following transversal skills: learning, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, decision-making, management, leadership and teamwork skills search and analysis of information from different sources and conflict solving.
