The Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management is a degree belonging to the branch of Social and Juridical Sciences that the University of Cadiz offers in the Economics and Business Faculty located in the Campus of Cádiz.

The Faculty is located in the building of the emblematic Hospital de Mora, inaugurated in 1903. This building was rebuilt and reopened for teaching in 1997 and, since then, the Economics and Business Faculty has been carrying out its educational work there.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Studies of the University of Cádiz has a total built surface area of 20,505 m2 and a usable surface area of 17,830 m2. Specifically, it has two large modules separated by a large central courtyard.

In block 1 you can find two main computer rooms and Professors’ offices and faculty services (4 multipurpose rooms, 3 meeting rooms, a lecture hall, a conference room, 5 classrooms for the Master’s Degree, a canteen, the Department managers’ offices and the Dean’s office).

In block 2 there are 28 classrooms, the size of which has been modified to adapt them to the demands derived from the adaptation of teaching methodologies to the new requirements of the European Higher Education Area. So, on one side there are large classrooms with the capacity of 125 students in which lectures (usually theoretical) and group tutorials are held and on the other side, smaller classrooms with the capacity of 35-40 students, which are used for those teaching activities that require small groups (mainly practical classes or in which more complex concepts are worked on and require greater student contact). It also has 4 computer rooms (including a language laboratory), which are used, among others, by subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Econometrics or Business Creation to work on the practical aspects of these subjects. This block also houses the offices of the Department of Statistics and Operations Research and the Department of Mathematics, the Library, the copy room, a multi-purpose room and an open space for students to work in groups and study.

Finally, the central courtyard, a large open-air space linking the two buildings, houses the Salón de Grados, access to the offices for language teachers, the AIESEC student association, the student delegation and the library managers.

Specifically, the classroom where the Master’s degree is taught is classroom B4, located on the ground floor of block 1, next to other teaching rooms of other Master’s degrees of the centre and close to the Conference Room, the concierge’s office and the cafeteria. This classroom has 35 seats and is equipped with the technological and audio-visual resources necessary for the development of the teaching methodologies of each of the courses.

All the courses taught in the Master’s Degree have a space in the ” Campus Virtual ” of the University of Cadiz, a web platform to support teaching. Through this space, students, as official students, have access to their academic record, to the information system and to all the information resources offered by the Library of the University of Cadiz.

The Social Sciences and Law Library is one of the two university libraries in Andalusia with the ANECA accreditation seal and the first and only Spanish library to achieve the silver seal awarded by the Club de Excelencia para la Gestión (Excellence Club for Management) in an evaluation carried out using the EFQM model. It has more than 530,000 volumes and 2,146 reading stations, as well as 18,643 electronic journals, 164,264 electronic monographs, and access to 153 information databases.

Finally, it is worth mentioning the availability of wireless access to network connection in the premises of the University of Cadiz, and that at the moment there is a loan system of 200 laptops in the library spaces
