University Master’s degree in Business Management at the University of Cádiz

In the current context, the development of managerial competences is essential for the efficient management of companies and their relations with stakeholders and other partners. The learning of these managerial skills and its development in different functional areas of the company – operations, finance, commercial – is essential to be able to compete in the global, volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environment in which any organisation carries out its activity.

On the other hand, in today’s world there are many people – entrepreneurs, managers, self-employed, employees and other agents, with no business training, who are faced with the need to direct, manage, lead, cooperate and integrate.

Given this context, the University Master’s degree in Business Management responds to the need to train graduates in these competencies in branches of knowledge different from economics and business management, as well as other professionals who require it. Specifically, the objective of the University Master’s Degree in Business Management is to provide training for graduates or professionals without a background in economics and business, as well as for graduates with more than ten years of economics and business degrees who wish to update their knowledge in the field of business management.

In this sense, the Master’s degree in Business Management at the University of Cádiz is aimed at potential students who may have the following training objectives:

  •   To guide their professional future towards managerial tasks in the different functional areas of the company. The aim is to provide the recipients with the knowledge, abilities and managerial skills, so that they can easily access the labour market, or the development of business or professional initiatives.
  •   To acquire and/or update multidisciplinary training that will enable them to manage and lead organisations in competitive, global, complex and dynamic environments.

The Master’s degree in Business Management is exclusively taught face – to – face and in Spanish. Candidates coming from countries that do not have Spanish as their first language must accredit a minimum level of B2 in Spanish, with a valid official certificate issued by an official body expressly authorised for this purpose.

The Master’s lasts one academic year (60 ECTS credits), and offers students a dual profile: professional (with 300 hours of training in internships in companies) or researcher (for the start of the research career, and as a preliminary stage for access to a doctoral programme).

The whole pre-enrolment process is carried out solely and exclusively through the DUA, Distrito Único Andaluz de la Junta de Andalucía, through the link:
